Premium casino content developer Red Rake Gaming is delighted to announce its latest regulated market entry into Greece.

Greece has always been a very strong market for Red Rake Gaming, working with numerous market leaders driven by the high demand from players in the marketplace. The license solidifies Red Rake Gaming’s commitment towards Greek operators and players.

Red Rake Gaming has been granted a license to supply its content to operators by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC). The A2 Greek license will enable Red Rake Gaming to continue offering their content to Greek licensed operators and continue to expand with more operators in the marketplace.

A wide selection of Red Rake’s top performing games will be made available to Greek licensed operators, including its record-breaking Super Series of games made up of Super 12 Stars, Super 15 Stars and the latest release in the series, Super 20 Stars – the non-stop, action-packed slot which combines feature games and bonus rounds from all its predecessors whilst adding another dimension to an already proven high performing game genre. Additional popular titles from Red Rake’s diverse portfolio includes Alchemy Ways – giving players a million ways to win, Max Dangerous and the Lost Relics, Tommy Gun’s Vendetta and Flamingo Paradise. All of which continue to be top performing titles across Red Rake Gaming’s network.

Red Rake Gaming will continue to build the portfolio of games for the market adopting a localized approach with Greek players firmly in mind throughout the development process.

Continuous delivery and expansion into regulated markets is at the heart of Red Rake Gaming’s growth strategy. Their latest market entry represents yet another opportunity for the company to further its reach in Greece and follows on from numerous new market entries.

Nick Barr, MD at Red Rake Gaming Malta commented: Greece has always been a very strong market for our content, demonstrated through our extensive client portfolio in the market. Our regulated market reach continues to grow continuously with more exciting markets lined up for Q4 2021 and Q1 2022. We are looking forward to continuing our strong performance in the marketplace and delivering the best content for the Greek players.

Sportnco expands European footprint with NetBet.gr in newly-regulated Greek market

Sportnco is delighted to announce that it has entered Greece’s regulated online betting and gaming market with the migration of NetBet.gr, the Greek-focused brand of the European iGaming operator NetBet.

Greece’s new regulations came into force in July and Sportnco entered the market following its filing for a B2B supplier licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission.

NetBet and Sportnco, which have been working together since France regulated its iGaming market in 2010, collaborated on this Greek launch when NetBet decided to switch its betting solution to Sportnco earlier this year.

As a solutions provider focused on regulated markets, Sportnco is working towards additional agreements with potential partners to grow its volumes in this newly-regulated market and take advantage of its B2B supplier’s licence and knowledge of the local betting trends.

Greece’s new iGaming legislation came into force this Summer and allows licensed operators to offer online sports betting and gaming, including casino and poker; and suppliers such as Sportnco must have a B2B licence to work in the country.

Hervé Schlosser, CEO and founder of Sportnco, commented: “We are delighted to be expanding our relationship with NetBet, a long-lasting and trusted customer of Sportnco.
This newly-regulated market enables Sportnco to demonstrate its know-how for meeting complex IT and trading requirements and once again we are excited to be expanding our international footprint. We’re really looking forward to developing NetBet’s presence in
Greece.”

Keny Igbui, general manager of NetBet, added: “We are very happy to be working with Sportnco in Greece and look forward to developing this relationship thanks to focused service and customer management with our sportsbook provider. Greece is a great market for iGaming and we look forward to continuing our growth there with Sportnco.”

SoftGamings Receives New A1 License in Greece

Reading Time: < 1 minute

SoftGamings reports another successful global expansion after receiving an A1 license in Greece. This will allow the company to expand its global dominance by stepping into the Greek market.

The whole process started in 2019 when Greece decided to make changes in its regulatory framework. In October of the same year, Greece’s Parliament and Ministry of Finance went a step further and submitted a document to the European Commission outlining new regulations.

At the beginning of 2021, SoftGamings applied for the A1 license in Greece to the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC). On June 1, 2021, SoftGamings received its Manufacturer A1 Suitability license, which allows the company to offer its services and products to regulated and licensed operators in Greece.

According to Irina Sazonova, SoftGamings’ Director of Partnerships, the company is extremely proud of acquiring its latest license. She added that SoftGamings is happy to continue its global expansion, moving closer to its goal with the Greek market. Here is what she shared about the iGaming industry in Greece: “The Greek market has experienced significant growth in online gaming over recent years, and becoming a licensed provider in Greece would be a valuable milestone to open up new opportunities.”

SoftGamings considers Greece a fruitful market in the iGaming industry, which will hopefully prove correct after this expansion. The Hellenic iGaming landscape looks promising, with its market growing steadily in the last couple of years. The new regulatory system will significantly contribute to the industry’s sustainable growth.
