Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GiG) reports Q3 2023 revenues* of €31.8 million and an adjusted EBITDA of €23.4 million.

Financial Highlights

  • Gaming Innovation Group achieved all-time high revenues* in Q3 2023 amounting to €31.8m (22.9), an increase of 39% YoY, whereof 23% organic
  • Adjusted EBITDA was €23.4m (8.5), and excluding a €9.8m reversal of earn-out provision, EBITDA was €13.6m (8.5), an increase of 61% YoY, with an adjusted EBITDA margin* of 42.8% (37.0%)
  • EBIT ex. earn-out reversal was €6.8m (2.5), an increase of 173% YoY, with an EBIT margin* of 21.2% (10.8%)
  • Revenues in GiG Media at all-time high of €22.5m (15.1), an increase of 49% (23% organic), with an adjusted EBITDA of €10.4 (6.8)

SuperGaming Reveals Indus X Fortnite Developed in Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN)

Made-in-India battle royale Indus will be playable in Fortnite. Revealed during the India Game Developer Conference 2023 in Hyderabad, players will be able to experience Indus’ gameplay, map, modes, and more in Fortnite for PC and macOS. This was developed using Epic Games’ Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) by a two-woman team at SuperGaming in about 27 days. You can check out a gameplay trailer on what to expect right here:

 

“We learned, built, and created Indus with UEFN in about 27 days with no prior Unreal experience,” says Christelle D’cruz, co-founder at SuperGaming. “This will allow us to test Indus’ gameplay with external audiences faster and give more gamers a chance to experience Indo-Futurism through their game of choice — Fortnite.”

While Indus is slated to hit mobile with the Closed Beta this festive season, Indus in Fortnite is a  separate experience for PC and macOS in Fortnite Creator Mode with a release date that will be announced soon. Along with Indus’ environments, its Cosmium-focussed win condition — that allows players to win by capturing this unique resource that manifests on the map — has also been brought to Fortnite.

ICE registration opens as organisers predict record attendance for last London edition

Registration to attend what will be the last edition of ICE held in London prior to its relocation to Barcelona in 2025, has opened. The free exhibition pass to be part of what will be a historic edition of the world’s largest and most international gaming expo can be secured on the official website.

Marking the countdown to ICE which is being held across 6 – 8 February at ExCeL London, a venue which has hosted the event since 2013, Clarion Gaming Managing Director Stuart Hunter said: “2024 will be a poignant occasion for everyone associated with the ICE brand as the international industry bids farewell to London and prepares for the next chapter of the ICE success story when the show opens in Barcelona in January 2025.

The inaugural editions of ICE Barcelona and iGB Affiliate Barcelona will take place at the 240,000 sqm capacity Fira de Barcelona from 20 to 22 January 2025.
